THE ULLMANNs KEEP BUSY MAKING MASKS

This has been an unusual year for all of us.  A "stay-at-home" order is hard to obey so one must stay busy.  Deloris, a retired SES teacher, who is known for always being busy anyway, decided to make masks to donate to others.  The total number of masks made and donated has reached nearly 500, 65 of which were made with the help of her husband, Don, former SHS principal, for the Senior Class of 2020 at Shenandoah High School.  Many people have donated to the cause.  The SHS seniors will have a keepsake to remind them of a senior year like no other!

You have arrived at the website of the Noble County Retired Teachers Association.
Noble Co. RTA is an affiliate of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association,
an organization that serves as an advocate for our retired teachers in Ohio.
We invite retired teachers to join us for plenty of information,
delicious food and great fellowship.
Always feel free to bring a guest.

Our meetings are held on the second Thursday
in the months of April, June, August, October, and December.

Program committees plan activities, entertainment, and/or guest speakers for each scheduled meeting.

We participate in various volunteer activities in the community
and strive to serve the needs of the retired teacher population of the county.

Do You Just Belong?
Are you an active member,
That would be missed
Or are you just contented
That your name is on the list?

Do you attend the meetings
And mingle with the flock
Or do you stay at home
And criticize and knock?

Do you ever go to visit
A member that is sick,
Or leave the work to just a few
And talk about a clique?

There's quite a program scheduled
That I'm sure you've heard about
And we will all appreciate it
If you'll come and help us out!

So come to meetings often
And help with hand and heart,
Don't be just a member
Dig in and do your part.

Think this over, sister (brother),
You know right from wrong
Are you an active member,
Or do you "just belong?"
